Американский космический корабль Crew Dragon компании SpaceX с четырьмя астронавтами на борту во вторник утром пристыковался к Международной космической станции (МКС). Стыковка проводилась в автоматическом режиме к модулю Harmony американского сегмента МКС, сообщает Радио Свобода.

Астронавты США Майкл Хопкинс, Виктор Гловер и Шеннон Уокер , а также японский астронавт Соити Ногути – пробудут на МКС полгода.

Прибывшие на Crew Dragon астронавты присоединятся к членам 64-й длительной экспедиции на МКС в составе командира станции россиянина Сергея Рыжикова , космонавта Сергея Кудь-Сверчкова и астронавта NASA Кэтлин Рубинс.

Запуск осуществлен в рамках контракта на коммерческие полеты NASA с компанией SpaceХ Илона Маска , разработавшей корабль и ракету-носитель.

Это первый регулярный полет для США после того, как в 2011 году была завершена программа Space Shuttle. Свой первый тестовый полет к МКС с астронавтами на борту Crew Dragon совершил 30 мая, а испытательный полет в беспилотном режиме в марте 2019 года.
